To facilitate collaboration and dashboard management among team members, we have launched the Member feature. This feature allows you to share your account with designated users and assign and manage permissions for shared members, ensuring the security of account usage.
The Member feature on the 4EVERLAND platform allows you to share your account with designated users and assign and manage permissions for shared members. This is a useful tool for facilitating collaboration and dashboard management among team members, while also ensuring the security of account usage.
The 4EVERLAND platform currently offers two types of invitation methods for adding members to a collaboration team: Wallet Invitation and Email Invitation.
For Wallet Invitation, the invited user will receive a notification on the Dashboard Overview page after the invitation is sent. The invited user must already be a registered user of the dashboard to be able to accept the invitation. Once the invitation is accepted, the user can join the inviter's collaboration team and access the dashboard.
For Email Invitation, the invited user will receive an email with an invitation link. The invited user must also be a registered user of the dashboard to accept the invitation. After clicking on the invitation link, the user will be directed to a confirmation page where they can accept the invitation to join the collaboration team.
Both invitation methods require the invited user to be a registered user of the 4EVERLAND dashboard. Once the invitation is accepted, the user can join the collaboration team and access the dashboard. The inviter can then assign permissions to the new member, such as read-only access or the ability to make changes to settings and resources.
Currently, a user can invite up to three members to operate and manage their dashboard account, and can join up to three collaboration teams of other users at the same time. If you need to invite more members, please contact us.
Owner: The account owner who has super administrator privileges.
Member: A member who shares the account, usually a user who has successfully joined through an invitation.
On the 4EVERLAND platform, collaboration teams can be disbanded by the account owner. When the collaboration team is disbanded, all members will be removed from the team and their access to the dashboard will be revoked.
In addition to disbanding the team, the account owner can also edit the permissions of team members. Currently, the owner can edit permissions for Hosting, Gateway, Storage, Resource, and Account. The specific permissions corresponding to these categories can be found in the following chart:
Users with Account permissions can manage members on behalf of the owner, including adding new members, removing existing members, and editing member permissions. This allows the owner to delegate some of the responsibilities of managing the collaboration team to other trusted users.
On the 4EVERLAND platform, collaboration team members can be removed by the account owner or other members with Account permissions. Removing a member from the team will prevent them from accessing the shared account.
When a member is removed, the account owner or Account permissions user can add a note to their information to provide context for the removal. The note can be helpful for tracking the history of the collaboration team and understanding why certain actions were taken.
In addition to being removed, collaboration team members can also leave the collaboration voluntarily. To do so, they can navigate to Configurations-General and click on the "Exit Collaboration" button. After exiting, they will no longer be able to operate the collaboration account.
It is important to note that removing or leaving a collaboration team can have significant impacts on the team's ability to operate and manage the shared account. Before taking any action, it is recommended that team members communicate and coordinate to ensure that everyone is aware of the potential consequences and is prepared to adapt accordingly.
When you join a collaborative account on the 4EVERLAND platform, you can easily switch between accounts by clicking on the account switch button located in the lower-left corner of the dashboard. The account switch button allows you to select the account you want to switch to, whether it is your main account (represented by "Owner") or one of the collaborative accounts you have joined (represented by "Member").
By clicking on the account switch button, you can quickly switch between accounts and access the resources and settings for each account. This can be particularly useful if you are managing multiple accounts or collaborating with other users on a shared account.
It is important to note that when you switch between accounts, you will be logged out of your current session and logged in to the new account. This means that any unsaved changes or data in your current session will be lost, so it is recommended that you save your work before switching accounts.
The operation log contains information about the master account and the members.
Change your account name and account photo on the profile page.
